Who We Are?
The Urban Colorectal Cancer Control Coalition, known as C5, is a team of dedicated professionals and volunteers who work together to fight for a better future for New Yorkers. Our organization was born out of the need to unite in the fight against one of the most common cancers - colorectal cancer. We believe that through education, support and innovative approaches, we can significantly change the statistics and improve the quality of life for many.
Our History
C5 began as an initiative of a few passionate public health professionals and medical experts who saw the need for a coordinated effort to fight colorectal cancer. Over the years, our organization has grown, gaining recognition and support from a wide range of professionals and the community. Today, we are one of the leading voices on this important issue in New York.
Our Team
Our team is a mix of experience, knowledge and passion. It consists of:
- Physicians and Medical Specialists: We work with leading experts who offer their skills and expertise to provide the highest level of care and education.
- Counselors and Psychologists: We provide emotional support to patients and their families, helping them cope with the challenges that illness brings.
